Hi, I am Chelsea Brumfield and I am the fourth grade teacher at Placer Academy! I was born and raised in Menlo Park, California and attended Azusa Pacific University where I earned my B.A. in Elementary Ed. I then attended Kaplan University for a B.S. in Nutrition and finished out with my Master’s degree from National University. Needless to say, I love learning! Before settling in Lincoln in 2012, my husband was in the Army for 7 years and we were able to live in many beautiful places. I am a diehard Giants fan and was lucky enough to cheer them on at a World Series game last fall!
We have a vivacious 5 year old daughter and one sweet doggie. In my free time I like to do triathlons and one of my bucket list aspirations is to compete in a Half Ironman race. I enjoy gardening, reading, and spending time with my family in Santa Cruz. I also have a slight addiction to Starbucks.
I love to teach fourth grade! I love what I do and see teaching as a team effort. I have high expectations for my students and myself. I strive to create life-long learners in my classroom, so we work hard and play hard.
Hi, my name is Cori Williams and I will be teaching fourth grade at Harvest Ridge Placer Academy.
I grew up in Woodland, California and attended Wheaton College, which is near Chicago, where I received my degree in elementary education and a minor is psychology. I had the opportunity to teach abroad in Senegal, West Africa and I have been teaching in California for ten years.
My wonderful husband and I have an enthusiastic four year old son and a curious seven month old daughter. In my free time I enjoy hiking, reading, and sailing with my dad. I am pleased to join the team at Harvest Ridge and can't wait for an exciting new year of learning!
