FACILITY UPDATES
PHASE 2:
Watch us Grow!
Phase 2 or the North Lot is currently in progress with the completion of four modular classrooms for our 4th - 6th grade students. This phase includes grading the back lot, installing 7 additional modular classrooms and a bathroom, completion of the playground, sound garden and play area. Once Phase 2 is complete, we will have an amazing new home!
Many months of planning have gone into this project, and parents, students, and staff are all eager to see it completed. We are excited about this improvement - it will involve designated spaces for our TK-K learners to explore, as well as large muscle areas for older children to enjoy that include a play structure and a sound garden.
You may be aware that COVID delays have affected many capital projects in our community - including the PAC playground. A slow construction process, labor shortages, and utility delays have made it a challenging project to manage. We have a signed Purchase and Sale Agreement (PSA) and we anticipate the closing date to be September 30th. We have already engaged PGE and are eager to begin construction as soon as we are able and provide our students with a new play structure. Please be patient with us as we manage the process of this important school improvement. Also, be aware that construction efforts will not impact the amount of time that our learners spend outdoors each day - they will have, and have always had, a safe, designated space to play throughout the school year.

PHASE 1:
Phase 1 of PAC's construction is complete. Phase 1 included the tenant improvements on the main building, outside ADA compliance, and installing 2 temporary portables on site. Construction has hummed along and we have been so pleased with how wonderful Small Town Construction has been to work with. The main building and two portables are enough space for us to house everyone while we wait for Phase 2 to be complete. PAC has a temporary play area for students to use during their structured recess time.
