Enroll Anytime
As a public charter school, Placer Academy accepts students throughout the school year. If you feel uncertain about the fit of your current school, come take a tour and learn more about our Project-Based Learning and Core Knowledge® curriculum. Our students take ownership over their work and are free to explore subjects in greater depth, at a pace and level that reflects their abilities. And for students who need academic support, we provide classroom aides, reading and math intervention, and special education services. 

Transferring Is Easy
Whether you are moving to our community or just changing schools, transferring to Placer Academy is an easy process. Our staff are here to help you navigate the steps of student withdrawal and enrollment and begin school on a timeline that works for you. 

Student Transitions - We Can Help
Being a new student is never easy. But at PAC, your learner will feel welcomed and included from the moment they walk through our doors. Each of our TK-6 grades feature small class sizes with low student-teacher ratios that ensure every student is seen and heard. PAC students enjoy more individual attention, increased participation, and better communication with our teachers than at larger schools. Our new social emotional learning curriculum - Everyday Speech - supports learners in all grades with mindfulness practices and integrated teaching that builds personal skills. 

A Community for All
As a “Parent Cooperative School”, we are committed to partnering with parents on every stage of a learner’s journey.  Our teachers communicate regularly with families to help you stay up to date on your child’s learning. We love seeing caregivers as helpers in our classrooms, and all PAC families are encouraged to volunteer a minimum of 30 hours per year. Whether you’re a busy working parent or a retired grandparent, we’ll help you find volunteer opportunities that work for you.
